I think the most Instagramable cafe downtown is Café Myriade in the Club Monaco at Dorchester Square. I went during my Coffee and Couture crawl for an espresso macchiato and a savoury scone. It’s definitely one of Montreal’s prettier cafes with its blue leather bench, immense old-apothecary-inspired mirror behind the counter and the most photogenic floor tiles. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, but easy to find: just find the stairs leading down to the menswear section at Club Monaco. I always use the entrance on Metcalfe because it’s so grand.
