Urban Dinner Cruises with AML

In June, I was invited to go on a cruise with AML Cruises for their Red Carpet Urban Dinner Cruise. This unforgettable evening was truly impressive. As soon as we arrived at the Alexandre Quay, we were welcomed like celebrities, with a red carpet and very flexible nautical acrobats.(My friend, Eve Martel who has the blog Tellement Swell also wore the perfect dress for our sailing adventure!)

After the welcome cocktail (glass of bubbly and small bites), the boat left the dock and we were invited to find our table. We enjoyed a 6-course table d’hôte! Between services, we were treated to performances by the same acrobats that greeted us on the quay who were very entertaining. I also enjoyed the magnificent view of our beautiful St. Lawrence River. After dessert, we headed back on deck to dance to the beats of a DJ and to see even more exciting acts by the acrobats, all while enjoying the spectacular view of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge as it was all lit up for Montreal’s 375th.You can enjoy the same VIP experience on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until October 7 for a nominal fee of $169.95 (including a 6-course dinner, a glass of bubbly, a half bottle of wine and a digestif). If you have a smaller budget, there are two other formulas (three or five services) for an equally unforgettable evening.
