It only comes but once a year and sometimes, it’s exhausting just thinking about it, but this year, I’ve come up with a game plan for my Grand Prix week!
La Plage Moët & Chandon at Maison Boulud
Not only for Grand Prix, the Moët & Chandon beach patio is open to the public until July 1st! Stop by to sip a glass of bubbly while enjoying the sport of people-watching on this chic stretch of Sherbrooke Street West.
June 1st – July 1st, 2015
Maison Boulud | Ritz-Carlton Montreal

La Terrasse du Renoir, Hôtel Sofitel
The Sofitel went all out this year to create a red-carpet terrace experience. I attended the official launch last week where the service and the ambiance made me feel like I was at Cannes! Try one of their creative cocktails and something from the grill.

La Terrasse Belvedere
Starting tomorrow at 4pm, the Belvedere terrace is the luxe spot to see and be seen on rue Peel. Try one of their Grand Prix-inspired cocktails in the heart of the Formula 1 activities on Peel Street.

Apéritif à la française 2015
Although not an official Grand Prix party, l’Apéritif is a party I don’t like to miss ! The annual fête of the best of what France has to offer in food and drink is being held tonight at L’Espace Canal on Saint-Ambroise street. The event is sold out, but try to go next year! www.aperitifalafrancaise.ca
New to the Grand Prix, Le Playground by Circo de Bakuza, Cirque Éloize and Agnus Dei (one of my favourite local catering companies) combines circus, fine dining (with wine and champagne pairings) and night life. Don’t miss this one! Kicks off tomorrow with a cocktail BBQ and runs for four nights.
Hamptons-Chic Grand Prix party at the Ritz-Carlton with Infiniti
Friday night is THE Grand Prix party! For its 3rd year, the Ritz-Carlton and Infiniti Canada are hosting a very classy affair. Tickets for the pre-party (7-9pm) are already sold out, but you can still purchase tickets for the after 9pm event with open bar until 2am and late-night dessert stations. The Ritz is the place where local celebrities and celebrated race car drivers celebrate Grand Prix in their finest F1 fashions. Reserve your tickets here.
Pitstop Party at the W Hotel
Fashion and music lovers won’t want to miss this chic cocktail held from 5-8pm at the W Hotel. Emerging Montreal designers, Nicolas Bilodeau and Jason Noel will be launching WIZEMEN, a collection of urban tuxedos. And local fashion darling, Jennifer MASABNI will showcase her collection of chic day-to-night womenswear. The music scene will be mad with a performance by indie rock band, Fast Romantics and emerging talent, DJ LERYCK.
F1 fans should definitely check out the Official Formula 1 Opus Collection, an exclusive presentation hosted at Holt Renfrew until June 10. These large-scale luxurious coffe-table books are collections of highly curated photographs, autographs, letters and musings celebrating the thrill of racing. Prices range from $3,700 – $740,000!
