Since the weather turned colder and with the dry heat indoors, my skin has been suffering! For two weeks now, I’ve been caring for my skin with an arsenal of products from Weleda. I’d used Weleda’s skincare in the past when I discovered them while living in Switzerland. Their products are often 100% organic and made either in Germany or Switzerland. This year marks the 95th anniversary of the company and to celebrate, Weleda decided to update the packaging of their various skincare lines. Now each collection has its own colour which makes it easier to pick them out. I really recommend their skincare for winter because they are rich and nourishing. Since the end of October, I’ve been using their anti-aging skincare line which is made with organic pomegranate oil. The line (which includes a serum, eye cream, day cream and night cream) is great for anyone with dry skin and who wish to reduce the sign of wrinkles. The other collection I really like is for sensitive skin, made with organic almond oil. I use the cleansing cream and facial oil for extra hydration.
I’ve also been trying a few of the body products from the Revitalizing line, made with evening primrose. I have the shower and bath cream, body lotion and a more concentrated hand cream. The Revitalizing line smells amazing! Weleda makes two other skincare lines: Hydrating Iris and Renewing Wild Rose. Whichever line you choose, depending on your skin type, I’m sure your skin will thank you.
