Marc Cain Fall/Winter 2016

It feels like we’re still waiting for Spring and that this past Winter has been incredibly long. With at least six months of dreary Winter, I always want to embrace colour, pastels and florals as soon as the weather gets warmer. That’s why I was totally taken with the MARC CAIN FALL/WINTER 2016 collection. At a recent preview of the collection at the Montreal showroom, I had to double-check my invite to make sure we weren’t seeing the Spring/Summer collection. The array of soft pastels and colourful florals seemed more Spring-like than Fall, but I quickly thought what a genius idea for our endless Winters. Why stick to gray and black when you can have a whole Fall/Winter wardrobe that looks like this? Below are a few snaps of the preview to give you an idea of what we COULD be wearing this Fall. If you aren’t familiar with Marc Cain – it’s a German fashion label and a lot of their clothing is actually made right in Germany (mostly their knits), but ALL of their apparel is made in Europe and not in China. More reason to adopt this brand! Last fall, they opened their first Quebec store in Carrefour Laval. Be sure to check out this classy and feminine line!
