Going to the beach, pool or spa does not need to be synonymous with drab, practical swimwear. I have already declared my love for Montreal-based swimwear brand, SHAN here and here, but then I thought why not show you more? So I asked two of my friends (Jessica, a fellow fashion blogger and Catherine, a kindergarten teacher) to model pieces from the 2015 collection with me. The suits are still designed by Chantal Levesque, made right her in Montreal and sold all over the world! And they are still just as gorgeous as when I first discovered them two years ago. See for yourself…
Jessica is wearing the CHARLOTTE bandeau bikini top ($235), bottom ($125) and wrap-around skirt ($160). I’m wearing the CHARLOTTE swimsuit ($295) and silk tunic ($395) and Catherine is wearing the GEORGIA swimsuit ($310) and silk tunic ($495). (Note: all SHAN items were on loan for the shoot.) The white & hot pink bags were gifts from Montreal-based Great Bag Co. and the taupe tote that Catherine is swinging, I bought online from Indigo.ca. The straw hat on Jessica is vintage (her own, from her grandmother!) and the one Catherine is wearing is one I purchased at Ogilvy. The sunglasses were gifts from BonLook.com. Special thanks to Bota Bota for letting us shoot at the spa before opening hours and to Jessica and Catherine for being such great real-life models!
