Vintage-inspired fashion for Valentine’s Day

I discovered Canadian fashion designer, Eliza Faulkner about a year ago. Or rather, she found me. Eliza had reached out to me just before moving to Montreal and I was delighted to learn more about her and her work over coffee. Originally from Vancouver Island, she moved here for love. So many great moves are made for love. Lucky for us Montrealers, because her designs are original, feminine, affordable and made with love (here, not in China)! When Eliza featured the WINNIE skirt and top on Instagram earlier this week, I thought it was perfect for Valentine’s Day.  Vintage-inspired rosy brocade makes this a classy outfit for my next dinner date. I would also wear it to afternoon tea or simply to entertain at home. While wearing it at home, I noticed that it also pairs perfectly with the latest coffee from Nespresso, the Selection Vintage 2014, which is my new favourite. The coffee tastes great, but, really I’m just in love with the pretty packaging and this is by far the prettiest antique-rose-coloured capsule. It’s not every day that you get to match your coffee to your outfit, to your antique cups and to your bouquet! If you’d like to try the Selection Vintage 2014 – or offer it to someone you love for Valentine’s Day – it’s only available for a limited time. It’s also now available for the VertuoLine machines.
I wish you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
