I’ve always wanted to be a bride and this week my dream came true! Thanks to Eugenie @stylemywedding.ca / @style_my_party who asked if I would accept to be part of a bridal creative at my house. We went to @dreamityourselfmontreal to choose the dress and found a vintage Hollywood-esque bridal gown that I immediately fell in love with. The photoshoot took place earlier this week with a team of talented women who work in the wedding industry in Montreal and the surrounding area. This is just a sneak peek of our photo shoot which incorporates my love for all things vintage and antique, the glamour of the 20s, 30s, 40s and of course, @dapperschnauzer, my best “man”!

The restaurant @bonapartemtl in the heart of Old Montreal is celebrating its 40th anniversary! This is a remarkable milestone for any dining establishment in the city and I am glad that there are still such places as Bonaparte where you can enjoy a high standard of fine cuisine and equally fine service in a charming and elegant atmosphere. The restaurant uses mainly locally-sourced ingredients and many of the wines on the menu are from Quebec. I had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu which was an excellent way to enjoy a wide variety of dishes from the menu, with wine pairings! This quite-traditionally French restaurant is tucked away on St-Francois Xavier street and is a hidden gem that one should not overlook! Happy Tartan Day! Did you know that Montreal has its own tartan? The @standrewsmtl gave the city its tartan to honour the Scottish community that was and still is a major part of the city’s cultural heritage. My grandfather’s ancestors were Scottish and the MacPherson clan has a few different tartans. I was fortunate to inherit my Great Aunt Lorraine MacPherson’s ancient tartan and hunting tartan kilt skirts. I wear them mostly for special occasions and especially on tartan day! Happy Easter!🐰Here’s a peek at our Easter dinner yesterday. 9 adults, 4 kids, 1 teenager and 1 mini schnauzer enjoyed a feast of ham, scalloped potatoes, carrots, green beans and Brussels sprouts with tons of cake, chocolates and Easter candy for dessert. We are some of the fortunate ones to be able to enjoy such a feast amongst friends. I’m grateful for all of you on this Easter Monday. Cheers!🥂🐇🥕

Souvenirs from a weekend well spent with my cousin

Souvenirs from a weekend well spent with my cousin Anna who I hadn’t seen in many many years. We always seem to pick up right where we left off and there’s something wonderful about feeling so familiar to one another even after so long. We spent Saturday luxury hotel bar hopping: from the Ritz to the Four Seasons and finally Le Mount Stephen before heading back to my place so that she could shop my closet! Sunday we dressed up and had brunch at home while reminiscing of the relatives we love and miss so much. Thank you for the fun memories, Anna! You are such an intuitive and sparkly soul and I am so glad that we had this time together. Next time, I’ll fly out to Victoria so we can do it all again! ✨🤍🥂🤍✨

It’s sugar shack season!🍁Les Enfants Terribles restaurants are celebrating each weekend for the entire month of March with a delicious maple brunch. Since I recently became one of the @jesuisunenfantterrible_ ambassadors, I was invited to experience the “Cabane à sucre” brunch at @lesenfantsterriblespvm - where the views of Montreal are incredible! The brunch is a copious amount of all the sugar shack specialties including: scrambled eggs, braised ham, bacon, sausage, roasted potatoes, baked beans, toast, cretons, a delicious apple crêpe and fruit salad. They also have three or four versions of an espresso martini on the cocktail menu, but we opted for a classic mimosa.🥂You can enjoy the Sugar Shack brunch at any of #lesenfantsterribles restaurants this weekend and next. The Magog & Nuns Island restos will also be serving maple taffy this weekend while the Outremont and Bernard restos will be serving it on the 30-31st. 🍁 Happy sugar shacking! 🍁 (Media Invite)

This weekend’s Saint Patrick’s Day shenanigans - in reverse order. Yesterday, we had a St-Paddy’s Day cocktail at Brasserie Henri, and we caught some of the parade on our way back home. Friday night was an Irish pub night at the Royal Montreal Curling Club and we danced to a live band until the wee hours. The fun fashion side to any St Patrick’s Day festivity is wearing something green! Hope that all of you who celebrated this year had a fantastic time. ☘️

23 outfits for 23 concerts! Once again, I’ve partnered with @festivalclassica for the launch of their 14th edition of classical concerts starting May 23rd and running until June 16th. Since there are 23 unique concerts to enjoy during those dates, I thought it would be a fun challenge to style 23 different outfits to inspire the looks that you might like to wear to one or more of the #FestivalClassica concerts. This year’s theme is “Classical Beyond Limits” and some of the concerts on offer are not your usual classical music experience. Take the first concert in the series for example: a tribute to the British rock group Queen - I surely would love to attend that one! There are many more concerts taking place during Festival Classica, so be sure to check out the full program by visiting the Festival Classica website. The tickets are very reasonable, especially if you purchase one of the festival passports and it’s a great way to support and discover some amazing homegrown Quebec talent that will be performing all throughout the festival. On top of that, this year, Festival Classica is giving the classical music lovers who are on a tight budget, the option of paying what you can afford through the new addition to their program: the pay-what-you-can ticket pricing. This initiative aims to create even more opportunities to bring classical music to the public. 🎻🎵🎶

The Royal Montreal Curling Club hosted a cocktail

The Royal Montreal Curling Club hosted a cocktail last week to commemorate the 100th anniversary of receiving the Royal assent in 1924. To celebrate, @cirka_distilleries created this Royal Blue cocktail using their award-winning gin. It was the perfect occasion to wear something blue and feel like a queen! It’s probably no surprise that I had my photo taken with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II which hangs next to the bar at the @rmcc_curling club. My date is also a member (it’s how we met) and he wore his custom-made RMCC blazer with the club’s crest and the official tie. It’s fun to dress up for special events and I’m glad to have someone who is also into it. 👑💙

Una bella notte! Three weeks ago we went on our first date but we met over four months ago at our curling club. I had been single since March 2023 but still wasn’t sure that I was ready to date after a 12-year relationship. Finally, I decided to throw all caution to the wind and asked my handsome skip out on a date and he said yes. Three weeks and many dates later, it feels like we’ve known each other forever. It has been a long, long time since I’ve fallen in love and it feels wonderful. I’m so grateful to have met you, Chris!😘 (He’s not on social media but he agreed to being outed on Insta) - this was taken while we were on a date at @caffeunpodipiu last Thursday - sorry if it’s too much PDA!

Dapper and I behind the scenes for @toutlemondeshabille - a new TV series on @telequebec where @lolittadandoy & @rosaliebonenfant share their love for fashion and every-day dressing. I was so happy to be included in this project with my favourite accessory: @dapperschnauzer 🐕☺️ I’m often seen walking Dapper through Westmount and the Golden Square Mile or downtown Montreal, and yes, I do dress us both up because I think not only do we look good, it often starts a conversation and is a fun way to meet and interact with passersby. I want to thank Lolitta for always being a champion for local fashion & street style and for including us in this very exciting adventure! Montréal en Lumière started last night and at @rose_ross_restaurant the guest chef is non other than Jean-Paul Grappe, a true legend to Quebec culinary culture. Chef and mentor to many, he is once again behind the 5-course menu for the #mtlenlumiere festival at Rose Ross Restaurant in the Rosemont Petite-Patrie neighbourhood - but only for two more nights (tonight and tomorrow, with very few spots left). I was fortunate to be invited to experience this gourmet meal with all its delectable wine pairings in the company of my nephew and Betty Siemers of @majestiqueshow who is behind the whimsical and magical decor of this truly unique eatery. We were entertained by Sébastien and his staff while his chef-partner Myriam and her team, along with Jean-Paul Grappe produced plate after plate of to-die-for dishes. This 44-second video represents a three-hour dining experience that I will never forget! Even if you don’t make it to Rose Ross for MTL en Lumière - you must get there for the market fresh cuisine, the delightful decor and the warm and welcoming team that make this place one of my top faves in Montreal! Bon appétit! 🍽️✨
