Pop by to check out the latest Aveda products and book your lunch hour or après work hair appointment. The salon is very conveniently located directly across the street from the Eaton Centre – so rain or shine, you’re inside the salon within seconds. The space is open, mod and smells amazing – thanks to those botanical essences found in their lovely products.
Andrea, co-owner and stylist will charm you with her down-to-earth prairie charm. Originally from Winnipeg, Andrea worked at the Aveda Academy and salon spa on Saint-Laurent for many years before deciding to pair up with her friend, fellow stylist and colourist, Damon to open Adikt. Many of their former hair devotees have since flocked to the new salon, while the pair have also attracted new clients with the salon’s central location and impeccable service.
Speaking of service, I had my hair cut by Andrea and my colour done by Damon and I loved it. While my colour was setting, Kiri – an Australian stylist who’s very passionate about Aveda, gave me an amazing hand massage with one of the scented hand creams. Once my hair was dried and styled, Andrea offered to touch up my make up using products from the Aveda make up line. Hair and make up taken care of, I felt pretty pampered.
